POSTPONEMENT OF THE 3RD NATIONAL RESEARCH DISSEMINATION CONFERENCE

The National Commission for Science and Technology (NCST) wishes to inform all researchers and stakeholders of the postponement of the 3rd National Research and Dissemination Conference, which was scheduled to take place from 22nd -24th April, 2020 at Sunbird Nkopola Hotel in Mangochi.
The postponement comes in the wake of Malawi Government’s ban on all public gatherings of more than 100 people as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Corona Virus in the country. The conference normally attracts local and international participants in excess of 200.
Meanwhile, NCST would like to urge researchers and its stakeholders to take heed of the directive issued by Government and strictly adhere to all preventive measures.
NCST will in due course announce new dates of the National Research Dissemination Conference once Government lifts the gathering ban.
However, NCST would like to encourage presenters at the conference to submit their full papers as previous advised.
