PLANNING
Planning section is under Planning Services Directorate. It is responsible for managing planning services of the Commission and is headed by Chief Planning Services Officer.
Functions

Establishing mechanisms to solicit support from the executive and legislative branches of Government, policy makers and private sector towards effective implementation of S&T programmes

Produce periodic reports for the Commission

Initiate formulation, reviews and implementation of S&T policy instruments for the adaptation, invention and transfer of technologies

Coordinating and preparing short, medium and long term plans for the Commission

Preparing state of Science and Technology report for the presentation to National Assembly every two years
