Reporting to the Head of Human Resource, Finance Administration, the Financial Accountant is responsible for financial Management and Policy Matters in the Finance Section

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

i.        Preparing timely, quarterly and annual financial management reports and statements.

ii.       Planning, directing and controlling the accounting activities of the section.

iii.      Implementing the commission’s budget and enforce budgetary control measures.

iv.      Interpreting and implementing Treasury instructions and circulars and  authorization of payment vouchers

vi.      Maintaining all financial records of the Commission.

  1. Developing and implementing sound systems for the management of financial resources.
  2. Preparing monthly financial reports for the Commission.
  3. Performing any other duties as delegated by Head of Human Resource, Finance and Administration
