This further unveils the research activities being done by a number of researchers in Malawi; institutions that have
goals set in improving Science and Technology and Librarians who have the naive to develop the information industry.
It is therefore envisaged that this repository will enable researchers utilise the countries's research expertise to
expand their research networks.
The National Commission for Science and Technology (NCST) was established with the mandate to advise the Government and other stakeholders on all science and technology matters in order to achieve a science and technology led development.
NCST therefore, periodically produces Directories to update the scientific and technological community on recent developments in research, science and technology in Malawi.
